R-VII Community: Jefferson County Road Crews will resurface R7 School Road - in front of Plattin Elementary School. The anticipated length to resurface the road is one day, with a follow-up cleaning one week after. The target dates for the resurfacing are Thursday, August 22nd, Friday, August 23rd, or Monday, August 26th, weather permitting.
We have coordinated with the Jefferson County Highway Department and the resurfacing will not affect AM or PM drop-off at Plattin during the project. Please be aware of Highway Crews working and keep our community safe during road improvements.

Wesley UMC Festus is having a Back to School Fair this Saturday, August 3rd at 10am. It is open to EVERYONE. They encourage teachers to come grab some supplies for classrooms as well. Hot dogs, drinks, and free Kona Ice will be provided.
